Reviewing What I’d Do If I Won The Lottery

So I’ve been playing scratch tickets since Christmas because I got a few… and I got to wondering, what I would do if I won a huge jackpot. I know that the scratch tickets aren’t likely to give me one of these jackpots, but go with me here.

My friends and I get the tricked out RV that we need to do a cross country karaoke tour. That’s right, I said it. A cross country karaoke tour.

Reviewing The Montreal Canadiens 100th Birthday Party

Last night I had goose bumps. A lot of goose bumps. A lot of times.

December 4, 2009 was the 100th anniversary of the very first game played by the Montreal Canadiens franchise. The ceremony was long and elaborate. And it was fantastic. Nobody puts on a show like the Montreal Canadiens!

Reviewing The Gretzky Trade, 21 Years Later.

Now, this isn’t exactly like the sale of Babe Ruth the Yankees by the Red Sox in 1920. It’s not like Peter Pocklington pulled a Harry Frazee and used the cash to make some bad musicals or anything. And the Oilers even won 1 more Stanley Cup after Gretzky left so there was no “Curse of The Great One” like there was the “Curse of The Bambino”. But at the end of the day both moves boiled down to being the sales of the best player in their sports.

A Habs Fan In Leaf Country, A Review

But it’s tough for us strong, proud fans of the Montreal Canadiens to fight back. Every Maple Leaf fan is aware and used to the fact that their team hasn’t won a Stanley Cup since 1967. And while we aren’t pleased with the fact that the Habs haven’t won since Sir Patrick led the way in 1993, at least we can remember beating Gretzky and the Kings… after they beat the Leafs to get to us.

Reviewing My Night In Sports, October 22/09

All in all I enjoyed what the night had to offer. I’m a Derek Jeter, Yankee hater and I’m a bleu, blanc et rouge Habs lover. And the Oilers are always fun to watch when they play barn burning, fast paced hockey.

A Review Of What’s Hot!

Here’s my hot list… I’m no expert, and I have little doubt that most of the things on this list won’t be considered hot by many people, but oh well.

A Review Of Turkey Left Over Options

There are a ton of things that you can do with turkey for left overs.

I have had favourites and I know that you have favourites, and there are also things that I have never tried before that I probably should.

Reviewing My Would Be Changes To The MLB Play-Offs

The theory here is that Major League Baseball gets to show off a double header of play-off action on national TV. It means that 2 extra teams in the league are guaranteed at least 1 play-off ticket gate per season. It also means that there are at least 2 chances a year for amazingly exciting games that will decide who gets to move on and play and who goes home.

Reviewing… My Writing.

So, I write a lot. I mean a lot. More than I post, more than I share, more than I’ve ever admitted. And I have a style. I don’t think it’s especially unique or exciting, but it’s what I do.

Neighbourhood Review…Parkdale, Toronto

We’re talking about the King Street West and Dufferin Street area. If you’re not sure where that is I’ll give you directions.

1. From downtown Toronto: Head west on King Street, past the trendy part, under the train bridge and there I am.

2. From the highway east of Toronto: Take the 401 until the DVP, take the DVP to the Gardiner Express Way past the CNE grounds and Ontario Place, get off at the Dunn exit, head north from the highway past Medieval Times to King Street.
