A Review Of What’s Hot!
Here’s my hot list… I’m no expert, and I have little doubt that most of the things on this list won’t be considered hot by many people, but oh well.
Country Music: That’s right, I said it. There are currently no less than 14 country albums on the Billboard Top 100 chart. Taylor Swift is the biggest it girl going right now. Toby Keith is top 3, and while I hate that guy, the public loves him. George Strait is still on the charts after about a billion years of making records and even had Jamie Fox cover one of his hits on his prime time network special a few months ago. Country Music is riding high my friends. Don’t fight it.
My H&M scarf: For $14.95 I picked up a sweet black scarf for winter. It’s not thick, but it’s the size of a small blanket. I’m pretty sure it’s bigger than my baby blanket. The folding and the wrapping and the wearing are fantastic. The scarf is soft, warm and wonderful. I’d highly suggest it, but I don’t want everyone to look like me.
Buying Rogers Cell Phones: Hey, a guy needs to make a living.
Cable Super Sports Pack: It’s hot now, and it’s going to get hotter. Right now I have access to NHL Centre Ice and all the glorious hockey that comes with it. I have access to NFL Sunday Ticket and all of the smash-mouth football action that it provides. I will soon have access to NBA League Pass so I can watch Kobe and LeBron all year long. College Basketball comes next and next spring I get to start the whole MLB season with Extra Innings. This thing is a sports junkie’s dream. I heart it.
Fantasy Hockey: Because I’m a sports junkie I love me some fantasy hockey. At this point I’m not at the top of the standings, but I’m not at the bottom either. I’m doing my best to make good hockey decisions not play favourites. It’s not easy, I really want to pick Canadiens and really don’t want to pick Bruins, but we’ll see how the season plays out.
Zombies: With the uber popular Zombieland in theatres and the reviews for Dead Snow coming in strong Zombies are hot for sure. Everyone loves the walking dead and are reading about and watching them and playing their board games whenever they have a chance.

Watching TV/ Movies On The Computer At Work: It’s what we do, a lot. The Office, Flash Forward, Big Bang Theory, Justice League, etc. There are also a lot of movies that get watched, new old and otherwise. I am not, by any means condoning the pirating of media and entertainment. All I’m saying is that I enjoy watching stuff on the computer that comes from the internet because other people know how to find it.
