RT @metricjulie: @phjoshua What the hell is wrong with you. Between sports and anything else, you always go sports.
RT @TheOtherMurray: @phjoshua: Jays game. Not even a hard choice.
And still, though I’ve moved cities and have had all of these new things come into my life, I sit here with the laundry and type a blog entry on my BlackBerry.
My new office is in a great location. It’s in the heart of Toronto’s Fashion District. It’s located close to pubs and restaurants. It’s awesome.
Over the weekend I was thinking about my faith and such and ended up writing what follows these intro paragraphs. It appears to be my first prayer. I don’t know what else to call it.
And I’m not asking you to use it, love it, read into it or agree with it. I just wanted to share.
“Top 5 fictional characters I’d like to have dinner with”.
Along with Horatio I had written Bruce Wayne, Indiana Jones, Jesse Custer and Oliver Queen on the list. But to be honest, as much as I love The Batman, I think being able to sit down and have Horatio tell his version of Hamlet’s tale would be the most satisfying.

I sat here today and put together about 3 minutes, just like in the 6th grade. The only difference is that I’ve had a little bit more training and practise. And I don’t feel like I’m going to vomit or pee my pants in front of crowds anymore either.
So I figured that I’d keep writing about things that I love. So here’s my next entry to the blogosphere, I Love County Music, And I’m Not Ashamed. P.s. Thank God I’m a country boy!
I needed time to fall for these Blue Jays. As a life long fan that might sound silly. But this a new team. These 2010 Blue Jays are making a new name for themselves. And I’ve been watching a falling in love.
I have thought about adding another tattoo as well… the tentative plan is to pair “In the beginning was the word” with “To be, or not to be”. They may not seem like a natural match but…pairing those two influences seems perfect to me.
A long time ago my boy Mike and I talked about opening a Sports Bar named Mike & Murph’s.
It was a dream then and remains a dream now. But sometimes I think about it and all of the wicked possibilities that could be part of our bar and how it would work out.
