Where’ve I Been? I’m With Waldo!

Hello world, how ya been? Good to see you my old friends. (special thanks to Lady Antebellum for the lyrics).

I know that I haven’t been writing as much lately. I know that you all (7 or 8 of you) must be heartbroken. I apologize of course.

Guess what though – I’ve been busy. I know right, hard to believe. But it’s true. Let me give you a quick run down of what’s been up.

I’ve got a new gig: I’m currently positioned as the Content Manager and Vendor Relations dude at PriceDodger.com. We’re a daily deal site. Check us out. We’re workin’ hard.

I’ve got a new girl: She’s awesome, kind, pretty, smart and she treats me like I’m some sort of good person or something. I have tried to talk some sense into her, but she just won’t listen.

The Habs were in the playoffs: I know that by now you all know how that whole thing turned out… but while things were going on I was pretty involved. And the couple days after game 7 I was a little heartbroken.

Side note: I love sports, and game 7’s are one of the greatest things in the sporting world. But my body and soul go through such a friggin’ beating from start to finish. My goodness.

I’ve been at the ballpark: My buddy Brian has been awesome enough to take me to a couple of Blue Jays home games already this season. We even saw Yunel Escobar hit a walk off home run.

My phone has been less than awesome: My regular routine would have me tweeting, Facebooking and blogging from my BlackBerry more often than not. But with the BB acting like a temperamental toddler I haven’t been able to do that.

Side note: If you have a Rogers BlackBerry that you aren’t using anymore please feel free give it to me. Thank you.

The weather is getting better: Aside from the recent rain, we’ve had pretty good weather. We’ve even had the top down in the car. Also means that I haven’t been just hanging out writing as much.

I’ve been getting ready for the election: It’s here tomorrow. It’s no joke. And it’s up to you to choose a new Canadian government and push for change and forward motion in this country.

I’ve been brainstorming the charity gig: I’m leaning towards the name #KickinItTO for the Jumpstart charity event this summer. I have to start talking to some of you very seriously about helping and supporting and making calls. Thanks in advance.

Life happens: That’s just the way it is kids. I don’t know what else to tell ya. But I am here, and well. So don’t worry. And buckle your seatbelts, because summer is coming and it’s going to be a great ride!
