Veritas Presents: Thursday Lounge Night – Come On Out Toronto!
Boys and girls, Thursday night is the 2nd best night of the week to go out for a drink after work. I know it’s not Friday…but it’s pretty darn great.
By the time you’ve reached the end of the work day on Thusday you have put up with customers, clients and co-workers for 4 days in a row. That’s no easy feat. You deserve a break. You deserve a drink. You deserve to be with friends.
That’s why, this Thursday, I’m inviting all of you to come and hang out and have a drink and maybe something to eat and maybe a laugh and maybe a hug and for sure a high five with me and all of your friends.
From 5 until we leave, I’ll be at Veritas, 234 King St E, just east of Sherbourne. It’s Lounge Night which means drink specials and appitizer samples just for being cool enough to come through the doors. That’s a pretty great reward for 4 hard days work!
I know that you couldn’t make it last week when I gave you super short notice, but Cameron’s Brewery came in and let everyone sample their Auburn Ale – that’s a good beer. It was a good Thursday night. And a great way to get ready for #loserkaraoke.
Word is that there may be another brewer in this week – that news will be out as soon as it’s confirmed!
And in case all of my talking about the restaurant and how good the food is, how cool it looks, how easy it is to get to and yada yada yada aren’t enough to get you out, I’ll drop a name. Chef Brad Long. Chances are good that you know him from The Food Network. He’s one of the Restaurant Makeover chefs. And he’s an all around good dude. On top of being a good dude though he also owns Veritas. Which means you can come and see how the man from TV puts his own house in order.
So – come and see me this Thursday (May 12 for you calendar kids) and get your smile on. That’s what it’s all about.
