Helping The World With The Shag’n Dragons At The TigerTel Oakville Charity Dragon Boat Festival 2011

Boys and girls there are some things that become more apparent and more important to me as I get older. One of those things is giving back. I don’t feel that I do it enough. And I dare not speak for anyone else, but I believe that it must feel as good for you as it does for me.

So today I am here with a cause and my space because I can be and I want to help raise some money for a good cause. Well, a number of good causes really.

The TigerTel Oakville Charity Dragon Boat Festival 2011 is being held on August 14th and will be raising funds for the Rotary Club of Oakville Trafalgar to spread out to deserving charities in the Halton Region.

I’m aware of the festival/regatta thanks to @trishca who will be participating in the races with Shag’n Dragons on Sunday. By all accounts they are an awesome group of people who have a ton of fun on the water and on shore. They are also doing their best to get to the top of the donation leader board as well as the podium on race day.
