NFL Week 1 Picks!
It’s here, it’s here!
Finally, after 7 months and a scary work stoppage, we are back to the NFL regular season.
Tonight marks the start of the 2011-12 season with the Super Bowl Champion Packers hosting the former champion Saints. New Orleans is catching up with the rest of America as they start their own post-(Reggy)Bush era and hopes to get back on track after a somewhat disappointing season last year. Meanwhile the Packers are looking to continue the momentum that they had last season and move forward with a more experienced and still very atheletic and talented roster. This was one of the easier picks of the week for me… I’ll take the Packers at home.
The rest of the week 1 picks weren’t that easy… Philly, New England and San Diego came pretty quickly. But in week 1 I’m never sure of how a real team of starting players is going to preform.
Then there’s the Indianapolis vs Houston game. I was ready to take Indy, they’re a pretty safe bet most of the time. But then the announcement was made that Peyton won’t start. So I’m taking Houston.
Take a look at the full picks for all 16 games in week 1 and post your picks in the comment section. Let’s see who has a better read on things to start the season.
Good luck!

So far I’m 1 for 1 going into 13 games today… I’m nervous and excited. Welcome back NFL football!
So, after a 13 game Sunday I am now 6 and 8… fingers crossed that New England and Denver can win tonight and get me to .500
Stupid friggin’ Broncos! How do you lose at home within the division in week 1?! UGH!
Thanks to Denver’s inability to win at home I finish the week 7-9… not a great start to the season – but not so bad that I can’t bounce back!
