Sometimes some people are lucky enough to know other people who are smart and funny and create amazing content on the internets.
Right now I totally feel like one of those people.
If you haven’t heard in the last few months, I’ve been working at The Blog Studio in the social media world as I’ve also been hammering out posts here and living in my own IRL and social spaces.
And if you haven’t heard in the last couple days, The Blog Studio has an awesome presence in Austin for SXSW 2012. In fact, Lucia and Michael will be paneling tomorrow at 12:30 at the Sheraton. What are they gonna talk about? Psychology of Narcissism & How it Effects Brands
Sounds pretty bad ass and informative and interesting right?! I think so too.
@lulula and @EvilPRGuy aren’t alone on the panel though. Dr. Jacob Small and Casie Stewart are joining them to answer these questions:
1) Is society’s need for peep culture creating more narcissists?
2) How does online narcissism change the way we perceive and share content?
3) What makes people share content online?
4) Where is the line between helpful online sharing and personal self promotion?
5) What are the short and long term effects of brands using online influencers?
As a intro to the panel and online narcissism they put together a hilarious video and it’s a must see. If you or your friends are at all active in social media you have heard or said some or all of these things. Trust me.
