A Wednesday Walk In Toronto’s Graffiti Alley

Yesterday after work I found myself wandering a little bit before dinner and wound up in Graffiti Alley.

Now, I don’t know anything about street art except for what catches my eye and makes me wanna snap pictures.

Last night there weren’t many shots that I took. But a couple that I really liked.

For some reason I really dug the heart that’s right here at the top of the post. Maybe it’s the colours. Maybe it’s the heart. Maybe it’s just the mood I was in. Who knows. Not a bad heart though.

My very favourite shot of the day though was a farmscape type piece that I had never seen before. I stopped and took a bunch of shots because I wanted to make sure that I got one that was going to be straight and include as much as possible of the art.

This is really awesome. If you or someone you know painted this – high fives need to be delivered!

How great is that?!

To be honest, after I fell in love with that wall I didn’t really take many more pics and nothing really stood out.

But then, when we got back to the neighbourhood last night we saw some unexpected Parkdale love on the sidewalk from what I assume was a young street artist honing their skills and learning the trade…

Some days it’s really, really easy to find things to love about Toronto.

Yesterday was one of them.

Keep being awesome kids, no matter where home is.
