The Boots and Hearts 2013 Countdown – 25 Days!
Ladies and gentlemen, the big weekend that we’ve all (well me at least) have been waiting for is almost here!
Like, so close I can taste it. So close I am itching to get back on a mechanical bull. So close that I’m thinking about my rain plan. So close that I’m getting exponentially more excited each day. So close… well, you get the idea.
And because the Boots and Hearts Music Festival has gotten this much closer since the last time I wrote about there are updates!
My favourite 3 musical updates are:
1. Cassadee Pope on the Friday line up.
2. Devin Cuddy (son of Jim) on the Sunday line up.
3. The legendary, Washboard Hank also on the Friday line up.
In total there are now 34 acts listed on the Boots and Hearts website… I’ve taken the liberty of grabbing screen shots of each day so you can see for yourself without all the hassle of clicking and such yourself.

While the 2012 edition of the Boots and Hearts Music Festival may have had more than it’s share of rain and was the 1st edition of the show, it was amazing and I loved every minute of it. Even the part where I had to go get bandaged up after the bull incident. And to tell you the truth I expect this year to be even bigger and better now that the organizers have had a chance to see how things work in the space, how the crowd reacts to great acts and just how much fun Country Music fans are willing to have at an outdoor, long weekend festival.
According to the Boots and Hearts Countdown Clock we are now less than 25 days away from the first act of the year – those 3+ weeks can’t fly by fast enough!
If you’re half as excited as I am I know that you can’t wait to get out to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park for Canada’s Biggest Country Music Festival either. And if you don’t have your tickets yet keep an eye on the interwebs for a bunch of contests that are still going on – you’ve still got a chance!
