The Party: Andy Shauf at WayHome 2017

As we headed into the evening, Andy Shauf and his band took the WayAway stage. Playing songs from his 2016 release The Party and more to an appreciative WayHome crowd, the quiet singer-songwriter commanded the audience. We love the WayAway stage for its ability to create a very intimate setting while still being able to accommodate a good sized crowd.

Watching Andy on stage he seemed thoughtful and content and his energy soothed the fans who listened intently. He brings thoughtful lyrics, and he paints a picture with his words. The music ensures you follow along.

Nothing could prepare me for the first moment when Andy smiled, it was warm and authentic and lit up his face. If you haven’t seen Andy Shauf live, you should remedy that as soon as possible.
