Canadian National Exhibition Announces 2018 Bandshell Concert Lineup
The Canadian National Exhibition bandshell has long been a booming concert spot in Toronto, offering great shows as the city celebrates the annual fair and the end of the summer season.
2018 will be no different, with multiple genres of music represented and some big named, fan favourites on the schedule between August 17 and September 3.
The growing popularity of country music in the city is once again reflected with two country nights already planned. And the love for rock and roll (classic and contemporary) is as strong as ever with multiple nights dedicated to rockin’ out. The CNE has also added in some fresh pop, reggae, rap, and more to fill out the 2018 lineup. And it all makes for a fun set of shows.
Note: The schedule is not yet full. 13 dates have music scheduled (some with openers, some yet to be announced), leaving five open dates in the 2018 Canadian National Exhibition bandshell concert schedule to be announced.
There are acts on the 2018 schedule that we’ve seen live and can’t wait to see again (Marianas Trench, James Barker Band, Emerson Drive, The Trews, and more). And, there are acts we haven’t seen, and can not wait to cross off our lists (Nancy Wilson, Little Junior, Big Sugar, and more).
We’re also excited to see which artists are added to the 2018 Northern Comfort Saloon Schedule. Stay tuned for more info once we have it!
