Roxodus Music Fest Adds Blondie & Billy Idol To 2019 Lineup
Roxodus Music Fest has added two major rock heavyweights to their inaugural festival this summer, announcing that Blondie and Billy Idol will join the July 11-13 lineup!
The addition of these big names brings the total talent count to 15, leaving six more slots left to fill before festival season hits us and rock and roll fans make their way to Edenvale, ON for three days of music and outdoor revelry.
More importantly, Blondie and Billy Idol bring big hits, great careers, and all kinds of legacy to the stage. Both acts boast Platinum albums, hit singles, award nominations and wins, and a lasting impact on music and pop culture. Adding them to a festival that includes names like Alice Cooper, Peter Frampton, and Lynard Skynard (who have all done the same things) gives the classic rock side of this new fest even more heft than it had at its initial announcement.
We expect another announcement or two in the coming weeks that will get us to the 21 rock acts that Roxodus Music Fest is advertising. And, if we get our wish, we’ll get more big names, more women who rock, and more excitement for the second weekend in July 2019.
