Rock The Park 2019 BX93 Country Night Line-Up Additions

Thursday Rock The Park 1

James Barker Band, David Lee Murphy, Russell Dickerson, Tenille Townes added to start.ca Rock The Park.

In November, Rock The Park announced headliner Old Dominion for the return of country night. This morning, Start.ca’s Rock The Park released some pretty amazing supporting acts including James Barker Band, David Lee Murphy, Russell Dickerson, Tenille Townes plus a rising star TBA Feb. 25!

Country fans were disappointed when the festival dropped country day from the festival last year. Organizers were concerned over the market saturation, and opted to plan for an amazing 2019 instead.

Old Dominion

Old Dominion returns to Rock The Park as headliners, and we can hardly wait! After winning the CMA Vocal Group of the Year award, Old Dominion are poised to rule the 2019 festival season, and London is ready to be a part of that.

James Barker Band

Following up their Juno and CCMA award winning 2018, James Barker Band have over 60 million streams, and just released a brand new single. They’re a hot ticket item for this year’s festival season and we have to guess that this band’s appearance has been in the works for some time.

David Lee Murphy

A tried and true songwriter (Dust on the Bottle, Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not, The More I Drink), David Lee Murphy has been recording songs since 1994 and last year he grabbed a hit with Everything’s Gonna Be Alright from No Zip Code. We’ve never seen him live and we’re looking forward to it.

Russell Dickerson

Also announced today was Tennessee country pop singer-songwriter Russell Dickerson. Dickerson’s 2017 album Yours gave us two US Country Airplay #1 hits with Blue Tacoma and Yours. We caught Russell’s 2018 Boots and Hearts set and we recommend you wear your dancing shoes.

Tenille Townes

Representing the women of country music, Rock The Park has secured Grande Prairie songstress, Tenille Townes. She’s been on everyone’s radar since releasing her single Somebody’s Daughter which hit #1 on the Canadian Country charts. We listed her as one of the breakout artists of 2018 and we’re looking forward to seeing her live performance.
