Versing on the hip-hop and electronic sub-genres, this year’s edition will see the likes of Diplo, Rudimental, Travis Scott, Sheck Wes and Lil Uzi Vert coming across the lineup, setting additional entertainment to the four days of festivities.

Robyn, one of the recent announcements of the names of the lineup for this year, has released her much-anticipated album Honey. The new album was already described as “cathartic anthems for the dancefloor”, giving her the singer the title of “diva of dance pop”. Honey will take the Swedish performer into a tour through Europe, being announced also in Finland’s Flow Festival, alongside Father John Misty, The Cure and Tame Impala.

Vampire Weekend is another artist who will also have a full schedule for the summer season. The New York indie-rock band will be present in Delaware’s Firefly music festival, Alabama’s Hangout Music Festival, but also in Europe, where they will hit Spain’s Mad Cool Festival and Portugal’s NOS Alive. Expect them to play songs from their new album, Father of the Bride, which is set to be released in May.

As for Anna Calvi, another confirmed artist, she also released an album this year entitled Hunter. It is described as “a liberating mantra for all”, erasing the socially-constructed line between feminine and masculine. The British singer will go on Gdynia’s stage in the 6th of July, warming up the stage for the long-waited return of Swedish House Mafia.

The iconic house trio, formed by Sebastian Ingrosso, Axwell and Steve Angello announced last year that they were closing their six year hiatus from the stages – they stopped working together in 2012. Besides performing at the Polish festival, they will also be in Mexico and South Korea, after making their tour through Europe, performing at many festivals, stopping in Denmark, Croatia and Switzerland and taking the party to Ibiza too, one of their favourite crowds. The concert will make the fans nostalgic and eager to see more work coming from the artists, who haven’t still released any new hits since their reunion.

Swedish House Mafia are just one of the attractions of the Open’er Festival, who has music for all tastes. The legendary Smashing Pumpkins are also confirmed, as well as Kodaline, Idles, Rosalia and much more.
