Chrystal and Jimmy are top notch musicians, performers, and people with a lot to offer in Canadian country music. And whether it’s on their own song like Lying Next To Me, or on a track like Never Have I Ever (with Wes Mack), they’ve got it going on.

Kristin Carter

Hometown: White Rock/Vancouver, BC
Entry Song: Give Me Something I Can Dance To

Kristin Carter returns to the Top of the Country competition in 2019 with good reason: she’s really talented.

The BC singer’s voice works on uptempo bangers like Give Me Something I Can Dance To, as well as more stripped down offerings like Leaving Side Of Loving You. She’s got a great voice and an expanding presence that shouldn’t be ignored.

As she gets more exposure and opportunity, we expect to hear a lot of great country music from Kristin Carter.

Tim And The Glory Boys

Hometown: Abbotsford, BC
Entry Song: Blessed

Tim (Neufeld) and The Glory Boys (Colin Trask, Brenton Thorvaldson, and Jon Mushaluk) are hard at work and pushing themselves forward in their career. With their album, The Buffalo Roadshow and a tour to go with it, they’ve started to turn heads.

Tim and The Glory Boys bill themselves as a country // bluegrass // gospel act, and while all of that is legit, what they really are is smooth and well put together no matter what you’re hearing them sing.

If these boys play a stage near you, be there and let them show in you in person what they’re bringing to Canadian country music.

Matt Lang

Hometown: Maniwaki, QC
Entry Song: Better When I Drink

Matt Lang is a promising emerging Canadian country talent, and he’s starting to get noticed. As the first signing to Tebey and Jill Snell’s new imprint, Jayward Artist Group he’s caught some more attention. And when he sings, he gets even more.

His voice is smooth. He’s got bilingual talent. And Matt Lang has the chance to be really special in a dual-audience and fanbase situation.

Lang’s got shows lined up to play, chances to leave his mark, and Tebey has said that we should expect more from him soon. We can’t wait.
