The three finalists in the 2019 SiriusXM Top of the Country contest have been announced, with Kelsi Mayne, Matt Lang, and Tim and The Glory Boys making it through the semi-finalist voting process!

Representing Ontario, Quebec, and British Columbia, these three artists represent the wide stretch of country music across Canada and the talent we have on the way up. Fans from coast-to-coast know names like Jess Moskaluke, Dallas Smith, and James Barker Band, and with the right opportunities, work, and good fortune, everyone will know these new names too.

Congratulations to all three finalists. We know that they’re all excited, and with $25,000 and the title of SiriusXM’s Top of the Country on the line, we can’t blame them!

Kelsi Mayne

Hometown: Windsor, ON

Ron MacLean called her a sensation, she’s appeared on major festival stages for country fans, and according to her bio, “Kelsi is also the world’s only country singer boasting both a nursing degree and a track record as a nationally ranked hurdler”.

We’ve seen her live, we know why country fans are getting into Kelsi Mayne, and as a Top of the Country finalist, even more eyes and ears are going to be on the redheaded country singer!

Matt Lang

Hometown: Maniwaki, QC

The first artist signed by Tebey to Jayward Artist Group, Matt Lang is ready to take his music from Quebec to the rest of Canada and beyond. With dual language talent and music, Lang has something special to offer. And we know that people are going to see that.

His summer schedule is heavy on shows in Quebec, but we know this: Matt Lang will be headed to Calgary, AB this September to play at Canadian Country Music Week as a Top of the Country finalist!

Tim and The Glory Boys

Hometown: Abbotsford, BC

Tim and The Glory Boys come in as the first band to make it to the finals of Top of the Country, and it’s a great thing to see.

Tim, Colin, Brenton, and Jon will now have the opportunity to share their country/bluegrass/gospel sound to a wider Canadian country audience and work for their chance to be crowned the 2019 winners of the SiriusXM contest.
