Moncton’s Mud City Music Festival 2019 Lineup
Red Fang, Hollerado, Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet, Atsuko Chiba
In May Moncton’s Mud City Music Festival announced the lineup for its fifth edition. This week they added Portland’s Red Fang and Rich Aucoin to the mix.
The festival which runs from October 1st to October 5th is a multi-venue festival. They’ll be returning to venues like the Tide and Boar, The Caveau, and The Aberdeen Cultural Centre. This year they’re introducing the Pink Flamingos Cabaret/Lounge to the list of venues.
Red Fang will headline the festival, with their debut appearance in Moncton. Other notable acts in the latest round of bands are Rich Aucoin, Adam Baldwin, Amy Stone & the Veneers, Diner Drugs, Frig Dancer, Ian Blurton, John Jerome & the Congregation, Les Païens, Little You Little Me, Roxy & the Underground Soul Sound, Which Witch is Which, Zuku, with more bands still to be announced.

Over the years, they’ve toured with prominent artists such as Mastodon, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Helmet, Opeth and Crowbar, and have appeared at major festivals including Hellfest, Rockstar Mayhem Fest, Wacken, Roadburn, and many others.” – Mud City Press Release
Those names join previously released acts Hollerado (on their final tour), Atsuko Chiba, Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet, Julie Aubé and Mike Trask, Nebullama, and Tampa. Additionally, there will be special performances from the Pink Flamingo Variety Show and the Greater Moncton Girls+ Rock Camp.
Mud City in conjunction with the City of Moncton, downtown Moncton and local businesses will be presenting a free show series with pop-up shows in non-traditional spaces. These include a Festival Block Party at Downtown Place which will feature live music, local vendors, a beer garden, games and activities for fans of all ages!
