Thomas Rhett Official Video History [ Nov 2019]

Thomas Rhett Boots and Hearts 2015 close up 2

Thomas Rhett was one of those artists, who when you heard them for the first time, you knew. They were going to be huge.

We’ve had the privilege of seeing this country music dynamo perform on many occasions. Each time Mr. Rhett raises the bar, I’m not sure what he’ll have up his sleeve next.

Thomas Rhett and his team have put together some amazing visuals to go along with his hits. The goal of this post is just to share these with you in one place.

We hope there are lots more to come.

Something To Do With My Hands

In early 2012 Thomas released his first single and video. Look at that baby face and the old school mic.

Beer With Jesus

It Goes Like This

Watch for the first appearance of his amazing wife, Lauren. Rumour has it she doesn’t love being in the videos. We love seeing her.

Make Me Wanna

This is Thomas’ 5th single from his debut album. The moving from scene to scene in a linear fashion to tell a story was something I’d never seen before. It’s awesome.

Crash and Burn

The first single off Tangled Up. We’re treated to a fresh and clean, more grown-up Thomas Rhett. This song was stuck in my head for months!

Die A Happy Man

This song stayed at number one on the Country Airplay chart for 8 weeks, becoming the second song in the chart’s history to do so.

T-Shirt

T-Shirt hit number one but critics didn’t like the lyrical content. What a bunch of babies. It’s super sexy, and one of my favourites. The video is simple but uses cool effects. Thomas wanted to records this song on his first album, but the song was on hold for Tim McGraw.

Vacation

This was the point where “old school” country music fans started claiming, this isn’t country music. Music changes. Deal with it.

Star of the Show

Star of the Show was the first song Thomas wrote about his wife, Lauren. At the time this was the fastest rising single of his career. Directed by TK McKam, the video was shot in a single unedited take. With the video features TR in motion as he struts the street, strums the guitar, hits the drums, walks the red carpet. The song was sped up double-time to get from point A to point B. It’s a cool treatment.

Craving You with Maren Morris

Leave Right Now – (Martin Jensen Mix)

There are no other “Official” videos from the Life Changes album, but there are lyric videos and live coverage which you can find here.

Look What God Gave Her

Remember You Young

The Christmas Song

The next two songs were released just as I was finishing up this post. They’re the only lyric videos I’ve included, but I couldn’t leave these out!
