RBC Ottawa Bluesfest Makes First 2020 Lineup Announcement
The 2020 Festival Season took another step forward with the 2020 RBC Ottawa Bluesfest‘s first lineup announcement for the July festival at Lebreton Flats.
The multi-day, multi-stage fest runs from July 9 to 19, 2020 and will feature a long, long list of artists spanning genres and generations. And while there are a lot of names still to come, we know that Jack Johnson, Marshmello, Vance Joy, Lil Tecca, and Jade Bird will all be hitting the stage next summer.
Update: The Saints & Sinners Tour featuring Big Wreck, Headstones, Moist, and The Tea Party is coming to Bluesfest on Saturday, July 18, 2020 adding four more acts to the names in this post.
Bluesfest is the largest outdoor music festival in Canada, and we know that the list of talented and internationally recognized artists that will be added to the 2020 lineup will be awesome. In 2019 that list included names like The Killers, Eric Church, Backstreet Boys, Alexisonfire, Snoop Dogg, Wu-Tang Clan, and The Glorious Sons. So you can see why we’re confident that 2020 is going to be packed too.
On Monday we hypothesized that Ottawa native Alanis Morissette will be added to the 2020 Bluesfest lineup as part of her 2020 World Tour. She plays in Toronto at Budweiser Stage on Saturday, July 11 which would make Sunday, July 12 a perfect fit for her in Ottawa. Stay tuned to find out if that works out.
