Bobby Bones & the Raging Idiots Release Live In Little Rock Album
In a surprise release on this 40th birthday, Bobby Bones & the Raging Idiots dropped a new musical comedy album, Live in Little Rock.
The famous radio personality (and Mirror Ball Trophy winner on Dancing With The Stars) recorded the album at his September 2019 show at the Robinson Performance Hall in Little Rock, Arkansas (his home state) on the It’s Just The Two Of Us… Sorry tour. The hometown crowd must have been hot that night because we can hear them laughing and hollering throughout the tracks, which is essential in a live album, and in a comedy album too.
The tricky thing about the album is the timing. Comedy, like music and movies and the theatre and all art, can be a fantastic form of escapism in hard times. And this is a hard time. There may be those who say that this isn’t the right time. And if this isn’t the right time for you, or if you aren’t in a place where a comedy album is what you need or you feel like it’s unhelpful, I understand and I’ve got your back.
In a press release announcing the Live In Little Rock release, Bobby Bones addressed the current times and hardships we’re all dealing with saying, “When we started The Raging Idiots years ago, our main goal was to make people laugh and spread positivity however we could. Everyday life has drastically changed the last few weeks and people are unable to get together and celebrate the way they planned, so I wanted to try to share some laughs on my birthday and hopefully it brings smiles when people need it the most!”
We hope it helps too.

Clocking in at just 17 minutes, Bobby Bones & the Raging Idiots, Live in Little Rock isn’t asking for a lot of your attention. It doesn’t require you to sit down and sit still and concentrate on the content. It’s light, it’s fun, it’s silly, and there are laughs. I could have gone for another 10 minutes, but I can be greedy like that.
Comedy, music, and musical comedy is all about personal preference and everyone has their favourite bits and tracks for all of their own reasons, so when I tell you my two favourites, they may be different than yours. With that said, I think The Target Song and Can’t Say That (In A Country Song) are great. Both are a lot of fun, both gave me a laugh. But it’s lyrics like “I’m gonna sell my truck and buy myself a Prius”, “I’d rather drink La Croix than a cold beer from a Yeti”, and “I voted two times for Obama” that really got me.
These are serious times, and we hope that you are all safe, healthy, and doing your best. And if you think a laugh might help you get through your day, I recommend hitting play on Live in Little Rock and letting Bobby Bones and Eddie Garcia do their best to give one to you.
