Whitney Houston Top 10 – By The Numbers

Whitney Houston Top 10 Feature Jan 2021

Whitney Houston is a legend. She is The Voice. She was a queen and a star. Music misses her. But, we are lucky to have her lasting legacy and library of songs to listen to whenever we want.

Since her passing in 2012, her music has lived on. Her biggest hits remain timeless and her awe inspiring voice is still a measuring stick that is often used and rarely met. To celebrate her music and the catalogue of songs she recorded, we did the math and came up with the Top 10 songs ranked by Spotify and YouTube streams.

The numbers were outrageous. Whitney Houston’s Top 10 songs have more than 4.9 billion plays on those two platforms. And that’s only on the main Spotify track and official (not live performances) YouTube videos. AND at the top of all of that, one single song is responsible for more than 1 billion plays on YouTube alone.

All of these songs feel like classics, and all of them feel like they belong today just as much as they did in the past. Heck, we even have a posthumous collaboration that is part of the Biden + Harris 2021 Inauguration Playlist!

Hit play on these songs one at a time, make your way to #1 and try not to be too surprised when you get there. Sing along. Enjoy!
