The Trews Top 10 Calgary Stampede Preview
Since the release of The Trouser E.P. in 1997, The Trews have been a big part of the Canadian music scene. The band really hit it when they released House of Ill Fame in 2003, and Not Ready To Go climbed to number 2 on the Canadian Rock Chart. There was no looking back.
This summer, The Trews will open the Stampede Summer Stage at the Calgary Stampede (Thursday, July 8 – 9:00 pm) to play their hits and fan favourites for the festival crowd.
The show will be opened by Canadian band The Static Shift who we came to know via The Launch (8:00 pm).
The Trews kick off a multi-genre lineup that will bring artists including Snotty Nose Rez Kids, Classified, Dear Rouge, Michael Bernard Fitzgerald, JJ Shiplett, Sam Roberts Band, The Funk Brothers, and more to Calgary between July 8 and 18. Check out the full Stampede Summer Stage lineup, with headliners and openers + the Nashville North lineups!
To get everyone ready for The Trews’ show, we’ve put together a Top 10 list of songs including a couple of amazing collaborations.
With so many fan favourites and chart hits, it wasn’t easy to choose just 10 songs, but we did. Did we miss your favourite? If so, leave us a comment letting us know!
