Oasis Top 10 – by the Numbers
For nearly a decade starting in 1994, you could argue that Oasis was the biggest band in the world. And if you’d have asked them, they would have told you that they were. They still might.
But now, more than 25 years later, the likelihood of a reunion and new music seems to get further and further away – so all we can do is look to the past. And that’s why we’re here with the Oasis Top 10 – by the Numbers.
As always, the list started with the ‘Popular’ list on the Oasis Spotify page. We took down those numbers and then headed over to YouTube. There we gathered streaming numbers for official music videos and audio releases (including remastered releases and official US versions) but not live performances.
After we had all the numbers it was time to add them up and do the sorting. So we did and that’s how we ended up with this top 10 list and the order.
No spoilers, but if you’re surprised by the #1 song on this list, wow.
Hat tip to Rob Harvilla and the 60 Songs That Explain the ’90s podcast for the inspiration for this post.
