I Got Through, So Will You

Fact: Life isn’t always easy.

I’m very sorry if I just burst anybody’s bubble.

However, I’ve been through the not easy very recently. I’m still getting through the end of it in fact.

And while I always knew that I’d survive, that wasn’t always very comforting.

What I learned is that it was okay to lean on the people and things that I love when times are tough.

And I did. Caitlin is a saint. Believe it.

I complained, was depressed, bitched and moaned and through it all she loved me. I very much needed that and am thankful.

My parents also helped. I wouldn’t have rent paid and an active phone line without them right now.

I’m a lucky boy.

It might sound really silly and kind of ridiculous, but being able to write and watch baseball helped too. Just immersing myself in things that I really love.

I guess all I’m trying to say is this: You’ll get through it. No matter what it.

Just remember that you’re not alone and all is never lost.
