The Dark Knight Rises… And I’m So Excited!

I love The Batman. He is the greatest Superhero of all the Superheroes.

And I’ve been waiting (as patiently as possible) for The Dark Knight Rises since the run for The Dark Knight ended.

I know that you’ve been waiting too. We all have been. It has felt like a long, long time since we all sat in the theatre and watched what really was a special movie.

First we got the teaser. And we all almost died. It was so exciting and breath taking and beautiful and dark and… epic.

And now every day we get closer and closer to the newest, 3rd, last flick in the trilogy starring Christian Bale and directed by Christopher Nolan.

Both have said that they won’t return for a 4th movie.

Neither are likely to change their minds.

The fans will not want to wait 10 years to start over again.

The studio knows it will need to make more movies with a new star and a new dude behind the camera.

But all of that is for future Josh and his future readers to worry about.

For now we have the excitement of The Dark Knight Rises!

First came the teaser… take a minute and watch it as a refresher.

Do you remember how exciting it was to see those images and think about what the tone and feel and sense of the movie was going to be? If you don’t it’s probably because the 2nd trailer replaced those feelings for you.

Watch it to be refreshed. It’s worth the 2 minutes and 13 seconds.

And then yesterday we got the 3rd trailer. With more Bane (Tom Hardy) and more Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) and more John Blake (Jospeph Gordon-Levitt) on the screen.

Because it’s a trailer I still don’t know how big Blake is going to be in the film… but I have a feeling that it will be significant and this isn’t just clever editing.

If you haven’t seen it yet you need to watch it.

Please.

Do yourself a favour and watch it.

Even if you don’t call yourself a Batman fan.

Spoiler: Did you see that?! The Batmobile/Tumbler flew! It was awesome!

I can’t wait for this movie!
