It’s a wonderful and stressful thing.

I’m talking of course about filling out your NCAA March Madness Bracket.

This morning I sat down and stared at the grid. Thinking about sure things and upsets and “what ifs” and “is that what I really want to do” and I agonized over decisions. I tried 3 times to put UNC into the Sweet Sixteen. I really did. But I just couldn’t get them past Kansas. And then I thought about Gonzaga, finally a #1 seed but still probably not a National Champion. There are just so many factors. I mean, wouldn’t it be great to see Albany or Florida Gulf or make it to the Elite 8? They won’t, but it would be a hell of a story!

The madness starts Tuesday with play-in games and then Thursday, March 21 we’ll start to see the big action tip-off.
