5 Reasons We’re Excited to See Eric Church at Boots & Hearts 2015
We’ve had the chance to see some of country’s biggest and brightest stars over the last few years, but 1 guy we haven’t seen yet is Eric Church.
However, that’s all going to change in August when Mr. Church steps on the main stage at Boots & Hearts 2015 as a headliner.
Since the day of the announcement, we’ve been ready. And now, with a few months still to go, we’re counting down 5 reasons why we’re so ready to see Eric Church up on stage and playing live!
5. The Reputation
Eric Church has made a name for himself as one of the top entertainers in Country Music today. He’s put hits on the radio, sold out concerts and rocked award show audiences. Church is one of country’s new outlaws, a designation given to him because of his swagger – he carries himself with confidence and authority, and we can’t wait to see it in action.
4. The Anticipation
August is a long time to wait. Heck we’ve known about Eric Church headlining Boots & Hearts since early November – that means it will have been 9 full months that we’ve been waiting and preparing ourselves and watching videos on YouTube and listening to songs over and over again. We don’t think we’re going to be disappointed.
3. The Smoke
It is our prediction that Eric Church’s set at Boots & Hearts will prompt some rather large and pungent clouds of smoke in the crowd. The dude is known for his love of marijuana and makes no bones about it. Other artists have joked about it on award show stages – and when he takes the stage in August, we’ll be ready for the puffs.
2. The Attitude
We talked about the swagger that Church has – and that he doesn’t care who knows how he feels about weed – Eric Church is a no guff, tell is like it is, pour me another drink, good ol’ boy. He likes his music loud, his sunglasses dark and his drinks strong. He’s going to be a high energy, country/rock party – we hope!
1. The Music
With 16 hits in the Top 20, Eric Church has become one of the most successful country artists of the last 10 years. His last 2 albums (Chief, The Outsiders) are amazing from front to back and personally, I can’t wait to hear That’s Damn Rock and Roll, Like Jesus Does, Give Me Back My Hometown, Springsteen and Talladega (it was hard to pick just 5 songs in that list) when Church gets up and takes the stage Saturday, August 8, 2015 at The Boots & Hearts Music Festival.
Hope we’ll see you there.
