10 More Awesome Country Covers: Part 7

For the last few years we’ve been sharing some of our favourite country music covers of songs from the worlds of pop, rock, and more. And now, we’re back with the seventh edition of our series with 10 more great covers.

This list includes a heap of Canadian country content, and covers of fantastic songs by artists including Avril Lavigne, Justin Timberlake, Marvin Gaye, The Eagles, Elton John, TLC, and more.

At the top of this list of 10 covers is the newest single from Canadian fan favourites, The Road Hammers. Their cover (with some updated Canadiana lyrics) of Dawes’ All Your Favorite Bands is wonderful from start to finish. The band took a great song, tweaked it to make it their own, and we believe they have a winner.

Note: I have a memory of hearing The Road Hammers play the song in Toronto at a Triumph Motorcycles event in January 2017, and now, just over a year later, everyone is getting their chance to hear it too!
