Dallas Smith Top 10 – Cavendish Beach Music Festival Preview
Dallas Smith is a Canadian country music superstar. He’s played all over the country, from coast-to-coast, headlining shows and taking his turn on the biggest festival stages available.
Summer 2018 is set to be busy again for Dallas with half a dozen festivals on his schedule, including a date with East Coast fans on Saturday, July 7 at the Cavendish Beach Music Festival on Prince Edward Island.
With a list of hits and fan favourites, Dallas Smith has a reputation of burning up the stage whenever and wherever he plays. We’ve witnessed the energy that he pushes out to the audience, and we’ve seen them give it right back. And if you love crowd-filled sing-alongs, there’s a lot of that too.
Canadian country music fans have latched onto Dallas Smith. And with the support of country radio, his success has been something to marvel at since his debut single, Somebody Somewhere was released in 2011.

Hell, since that debut Dallas Smith has found the Top 10 with 18 single releases. He’s been in the Top 5 an astounding 11 times. And to top it all off, Dallas Smith has reached #1 on the Canadian country charts five times, including a run of four #1 singles in a row (Autograph, Side Effects, Sky Stays This Blue, and Sleepin’ Around).
With all of those hits, it’s both easy and hard to put together a top 10 list of Smith’s singles. With that in mind, we’ve done our best.
Included are all five of his chart-toppers to go along with some of our very favourites from his career so far. Have a look and listen (in alphabetical order) to our 10 choices + two bonus tracks that we couldn’t ignore.
Fans at the Cavendish Beach Music Festival are in for a treat this summer when Dallas Smith takes the stage on Saturday. We can promise you all that!
