Boots & Hearts 2018 Announces Day-To-Day Lineups

The 2018 Boots & Hearts picture just got a little clearer with the day-to-day lineup announcement for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

With 38 acts on the four-day list, there’s a ton of talent, and music lined up for the August 9 – 12 festival at Burls Creek Event Grounds. And while we don’t know stage and time assignments yet, there are some educated guesses that can be made based on past years and the announcement details.

What we do know is that we’re going to hear Alan Jackson sing Chattahoochee on Saturday night… and that’s going to be awesome.

We also know that the sing-along at the Budweiser Stage during Florida Georgia Line’s H.O.L.Y in September 2016 was one of the loudest things we’ve ever heard… and we’re looking forward to it being even louder at B&H 2018!

But, we want to get to the predictions to give you an idea of what we think is going to happen. Ready? Here we go!

Thursday Predictions:

Be ready for Blackjack Billy to hit the stage sometime around 8:30 pm, with LOCASH coming on at about 9:30 pm or so to play their kick-off party headlining set.

Friday Predictions:

It looks like Dallas Smith will act as the direct opener for Florida Georgia Line on the main stage. We’re guessing that Dallas starts around 7:30 pm and plays an hour before the stage changeover and the FGL main event.

Juno winners, James Barker Band may seem a little too big for the side stage, but don’t be surprised to see them as the last act of the day on the Front Porch before the big names hit the main stage.

Saturday Predictions:

Alan Jackson has enough hits to play for a long, long time. And we’re hoping we get a two-hour set from the country music legend. That would put Jackson on stage at about 9 pm, with Billy Currington playing his lead-in set at about 7:15 pm on the main stage.

Be prepared to have to make a tough decision about ACM New Group of the Year, Midland and CCMA Female Artist of the Year, Meghan Patrick. Both acts deserve prime set times, which could put one of them on the main stage and one as the last act of the day on the Front Porch stage with some overlap. This is where festival planning gets tricky for organizers and fans!

Sunday Predictions:

The festival closes on Sunday night with Brett Young opening for Thomas Rhett. Be ready for Young to take the stage between 7 and 7:30 pm, with Rhett kicking off the last live music of the weekend at about 9:15 pm.

And be ready for surprises!

That Saturday scheduling conundrum we just mentioned, be ready for the same thing to happen on Sunday with Canadian talents, Lindsay Ell, Andrew Hyatt and The Washboard Union!

And now that you’ve stuck with us through those guesses, we present to you the 2018 Boots & Hearts Music Festival Day-to-Day Lineups.
