In 2003, Sam Roberts Brother Down hit the Canadian airwaves and won over the music scene. The video won Best Video and was nominated for Best Pop Video, Best Indie Video, Single of the Year and Artist of the Year at the Juno Awards. It was the start of a very long run of success for the Sam Roberts Band. Along with his band, the Montreal native has recorded and released six studio albums, and four EPS. They’ve won six Junos and five Much Music Video Awards, and they continue to release new music and work on collaborations.

On Saturday, June 30 at Woodbine Racetrack, Sam Roberts will welcome music fans at the 159th Queen’s Plate Festival!

Single day tickets for the festival start at just $30, with two-day tickets starting at $45.

The Juno Award Winner mixes rock with folk in a way that opens the music up to a broader audience. His lyrics are astute and resonate on topics like politics, love and the Canadian way. On stage, Sam Roberts is an artist. He makes you feel like he’s singing directly to you. He reaches out and captures your heart, and if you’ve never seen him live, this is your chance.

I’ve seen the Sam Roberts Band many times, and I can hardly wait to see him light up the stage again at the 2018 Queen’s Plate Festival.
