Country Music Moustache Hall of Fame – Movember 2018

With Movember here, we’re in the mood to celebrate some Hall of Fame calibre ‘staches from the world of country music!

Some of these moustaches are classic. You can picture them when you hear names like Alan Jackson, Kix Brooks, and Joe Diffie. Others are more recent or were shorter lived facial hair choices, but they are all fantastic.

Note: We are proud supporters of Movember and invite all of you to help stop men dying too young by making a donation this year. Click here to learn more and support a great cause.

Have a look at these 10 Hall of Fame worthy moustaches, and if you’re thinking of a country artist that you think has a moustache that needs to be recognized, leave a comment!

Country Music Moustache Hall of Fame 2018

Trace Adkins

Adkins knows how to rock a great ‘stache. This example is from the Every Light In The House Is On music video circa 1996, but it feels like yesterday.

Dierks Bentley

Dierks Bentley is not known for his moustache, it’s not a defining feature of his face or his career, but we do love the way it looks on him.

Garth Brooks

Garth has been a goatee guy, a beard guy, and at one time, a handlebar moustache guy. As the legend he is, it’s easy to push Mr. Brooks into a HoF position for this moustache.

Kix Brooks

Close your eyes and try to picture Kix Brooks without a moustache. You can’t. This half of Brooks & Dunn has been topping the charts and wowing crowds with a ‘stache that more than deserves its place in the Hall of Fame.

Joe Diffie

Whether you’re singing along to John Deere Green, Pick-Up Man, or even Jason Aldean’s 1994, you can’t ignore Joe Diffie’s HoF worthy moustache. The Oklahoma native will always be one of our favourites for his hits and his facial hair.

Alan Jackson

If we’re going to use words like legend, we have to include Alan Jackson on this list. With 26 #1 singles and fan favourites that go on for days, Jackson and his moustache are truly, truly legends.

Tracy Lawrence

Time Marches On is one of my favourite country songs of all time. And Tracy Lawrence’s moustache is part of the memory of learning that song and falling in love with it. Just look at the cover of March 1995’s Country America magazine and fall in love all over again.

Tim McGraw

When you think Tim McGraw, I hope you think of this amazing early 90s moustache throwback. Before he was one of the biggest country stars of a generation, McGraw was an up and comer with a moustache and a mullet. And even though that’s not his look now, it’s how we’ll remember him from our introduction.

George Strait

George Strait is not a moustache guy by trait, but when he rocked a ‘stache for a little while back in the day, it looked like it belonged on his hit-making face!

Mark Wystrach

Mark Wystrach’s modern moustache is front and centre these days as lead singer of Midland. We’ve seen Mark without his ‘stache, and it just doesn’t look right. Mark’s still got some miles to go, but we’re happy to induct his moustache into the Hall of Fame right now!
