The Rolling Stones Re-Announce No Filter Tour Stop at Burl’s Creek!
The Rolling Stones are coming to Burl’s Creek Event Grounds on June 29, 2019, on the No Filter Tour, the only Canadian stop on their run!
The legendary rockers had previously been scheduled for the same date, but when Mick Jagger was told by doctors that he needed to take time off for a heart valve replacement surgery, the show was cancelled. Now though, after a video of the energetic 75-year-old dancing in a rehearsal space was shared on social media, and all of the postponed shows have been rescheduled, it’s time to get excited.

The Canadian tour stop takes place at the site of Boots & Hearts, WayHome (RIP), Big Sky Music Festival, and other major music and entertainment events. And with its placement on the Saturday night of the Canada Day long weekend, it’s sure to be a party you won’t want to miss.
At the time of the original concert announcement in February, we didn’t know who would be headed up Highway 11 to open the show for The Stones, but now we do. The Glorious Sons and The Beaches have been announced as part of the bill, bringing some awesome Canadian content and rock and roll chops to the stage. And, with a “+more” listed on the Facebook event page, we won’t be surprised to see more artists names added to the show, making it more of a full-day experience at the event grounds.
Over the last 50+ years, a lot of people have had the chance to see The Rolling Stones live. However, as the years go by we’re made very aware that we don’t know how many more chances there will be.
Fans of the band expressed excitement in February when the No Filter Tour stop was announced, and they’re excited again now!
