Jake Owen made it a Barefoot Blue Jean Night and Lauren Alaina sparkled and shined on Saturday at Country Thunder in Calgary.

The two country stars closed the night with Lauren going first and Jake Owen closing the show in the headlining slot. They each got the crowd moving and smiling and singing along as they played through their sets and we have no doubt that both of them would be welcomed back to Calgary with open arms any time.

Jake Owen is a star and one of our favourites. He’s cool and he can sing the hell out of his songs. We’d see him again in a heartbeat.
