Bon Villan 5 Quick Questions [New Single – Wind Up]
Bon Villan are back.
We first wrote about the band in April of this year when they were featured on our New Music Spotlight with their single All The Way.
Today, they released a brand new lyric video for their latest single Wind Up. This song reveals a look at the darker side of electronic music.
“The distorted, bass-heavy music and edgy lyrics are contrasted by haunting vocals and the emotional delivery in Jared’s performance. It really feels like a step forward creatively for us” says Julian. “The song’s title is a double entendre about the two most intense moments in relationships. The tension that builds before people first get together, and how relationships very often leave people in the end. It’s these most intense moments, the ones where we feel most alive and awake, that inspired the song”.
We thought this was the perfect opportunity to sit the band down for a 5 Quick Questions segment.

Bon Villan will be heading out on the road to headline the following shows to promote the new single, and they’ll be bringing some special guests with them.
Friday, October 11th at The Rivoli in Toronto with special guests Sam Louis, A is for Arrows, and Jessie Alexandra. Tickets are $10 in advance, and $15 at the door.
Friday, October 25th at Live On Elgin, in Ottawa with special guests Paragon Cause and Transit Lake. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.
Friday, November 2nd at La Vitrola in Montreal with special guests La Fievre + Housefly. Tickets are $10 at the door.
