ISC International Songwriting Competition 2019
ISC or International Songwriting Competition is an annual song competition. Its goal is to facilitate established and emerging songwriters. To allow them to have their songs heard in a professional, international arena.
Amateur and professional songwriters and musicians are invited to participate in the contest. ISC has a very esteemed panel of judges including Coldplay, Dua Lipa, Fleet Foxes, Kevin Gates, Cam, John Mayall, Tom Waits, Bastille, Tanya Tucker, Kaskade, Lonnie Liston Smith, and more.
This competition offers vast exposure and an opportunity to have your songs heard by the most influential decision-makers in the music industry.
ISC is giving away more than $150,000 (US) in cash and prizes to shared by 71 winners in 23 music genres. In addition to cash and merch prizes, winners will receive a promotional campaign for multiple platforms, designed to boost international exposure and grab the right attention for their songwriting achievements.
Categories include: Adult Album Alternative, Adult Contemporary, Americana, Blues, Children’s Music, Christian, Comedy/Novelty, Country, EDM, Folk/Singer-Songwriter, Instrumental, Jazz, Latin Music, Lyrics Only, Music Video, Performance, Pop/Top 40, R&B/Hip-Hop, Rock, Teen, Unpublished, Unsigned Only, and World Music.
There’s no limit on the number of songs you can submit.
Submissions will be judged on creativity, originality, lyrics (unless it’s an instrumental piece), melody, arrangement, and overall likeability*.
