To celebrate Taylor Swift‘s 30th birthday, I’ve gone through her albums, soundtrack singles, and her features on other artists work to put together my list of 30 favourite Taylor Swift songs.

In doing this I completely understand that my list will not line up with every other T.Swift fan’s list. I will have left off songs that you might love. I will have included songs that you wouldn’t have put on your list. There are a lot of songs and a lot of love in this fandom, and we aren’t all going to be on the same page all the time.

I also looked at how to sort this list about half a dozen different ways and ultimately decided to go with a chronological/alphabetical list. This isn’t ranked from 30 to 1. Not at all. I’ve taken the release dates of the albums the songs come from and put the songs from each of those groupings into alphabetical order. It’s an interesting look at Swift’s growth and evolution throughout her career, as well as my preferences in her releases.

AND there’s a bonus at the bottom of this list. I don’t know if it will someday work its way into my top 30, but it’s hot right now and the timing is right.
