Lucknow’s Music in the Fields returns for their 12th annual festival this August, and now we know who we’ll see up on stage when the music comes to town in 2020.

The lineup blends genres, bringing some rock and roll to the, traditionally, country festival, and we like it. The inclusion of The Sheepdogs and 54-40 with big country names like Brantley Gilbert and Eli Young Band adds a wrinkle to the weekend that we think is going to work. Add in Canadian country music talents like Hunter Brothers, Lindsay Ell, MacKenzie Porter, and Nice Horse and we know that fans are going to be entertained.

To this point, 12 acts are on the lineup and if more are added, that will be a bonus. What we can see now, is that the fans who continue to head to Lucknow, ON every year in late-summer are in for another good time this year.

Why are we so confident? We’ve seen more than half of these acts in the last few years, and each of them proved to us that they know how to host a party in the bright lights on stage, and all of them are talented as hell. There are going to be sing-along moments. There are going to be slow dance moments. There are going to be phones and lighters in the air moments. Count on it.

We also need to show a lot of love to the festival, fans, and the commitment to giving back to the community. Over the years, Lucknow’s Music in the Fields has donated more than $1.3 million to support Cystic Fibrosis and a number of local charities and non-profits.
