Elyse Saunders hasn’t let the COVID-19 crisis stop her from putting in work. The Peterborough, ON native recently made the trip to Vancouver as restrictions started to roll back, and has been in the studio working on new music that we know she can’t wait to share and we can’t wait to hear.

While she was in the studio, we got Elyse to take a break and sit down to play her very first round of 5 Quick Questions. Check that video out a little further down in the post.

Elyse Saunders has been working the country music scene and honing her chops for more than a decade now. And with showcase opportunities at Canadian Music Week, the Canadian National Exhibition’s Northern Comfort Saloon, and more – plus the time and experience that she’s had in Nashville, she continues to move forward in her country music career.

With two albums already in her library (I’m On My Way, 2015 & Elyse Saunders 2008) and a string of singles released in the last few years, I think it’s fair to say that Saunders is finding herself, her sound, her groove, and her voice. Because she’s always been a powerhouse on the microphone, but sometimes it takes a minute to get to where you need to be.

We’re looking forward to hearing the new music that comes from Elyse’s time in Vancouver, but for now we’ll hit play one more time on Free and enjoy.
