Notes: Nice Horse did a wonderful job teasing High School on their socials with some throwback yearbook photos – and now the song is here, and we’re not let down at all. This one if for everyone that didn’t peak in high school, for everyone living a real, challenging life compared to the old days in the hallways or your mama’s basement. The harmonies are tight as we’re used to from the band. The lyrics work and will get you hooked. Nice Horse has done it again.

Notes: Broke but livin’ well in love should sum up the story Sykamore is telling in Cheap Thrills, and I’m here for it. There’s something innocent and young and happy about slipping into a song like this for three minutes. And as a fan of Sykamore’s voice and writing style, I’m all in on Cheap Thrills.
