There aren’t enough positive adjectives to describe Dolly Parton. As an artist, businesswoman, philanthropist, inspiration, and icon, she stands alone as Dolly.

But, before any of the rest, her music hits us first. So, we started going through the songs and the streams and we did some math and came up with Dolly Parton’s Top 10 – by the numbers.

We started, as we always do, with the publically available streaming numbers on the 10 songs in the Popular list on Spotify. After that, we went to YouTube and pulled numbers from official videos (and one fan video that couldn’t be ignored). We did not include live performances, remixes, etc. We added all of those numbers up, ranked the songs 1 – 10 based on the totals, and voila, we have a list.

In the end, this list is a pretty great representation of Dolly (we think). There are newer songs that come as collaborations. There are massive hits that stand the test of time. There is faith. There is love. There is sass. There is Dolly.
