RALPH, the pop singing, bop writing, smile spreading star is back with another banger… and there’s more on the way.

Her new single, Tommy is available now and is everything I could have wanted in a new Spring jam from one of my favourites. But the even bigger news is that RALPH’s new EP GRADIENCE is also on the way, meaning more danceable tracks are in the forecast.

But, before we get all of it, we get Tommy – and it’s a hell of a place to start. Before my first listen was over I was bobbing my head and singing the hook. And by my second or third listen I was imagining a concert, with dancing and fantastic outfits and happiness and drinks and love in the club and it made me smile even wider.

At this moment, I have no idea how many songs are going to be on GRADIENCE, or how many of them are pure dance tracks, but I’m excited for it. RALPH is a songwriter, we’ve talked about it and how important that is to her in past conversations. And if she’s going to dive back into the glam, disco, 70/80s vibes that she does so well, along with the stories she wants to tell, she’ll be in a good place.

And then there’s the video.

I feel like Stefon describing the Tommy music video. It’s got everything – big wigs, period costumes, drag, bright colours, choreography, RALPH being amazing, everything!!!
