Just Costa are Feeling Peachy

Just Costa are a fun, funky pop brother/sister duo out of Montreal.

On April 30th Juliana and Jesse Costa dropped their first EP, Peachy.

The EP features six tracks, including the title track Peachy. If you’re looking for something smooth, synthy, new, funky, and filled with beautifully blended voices, Peachy may be just what you need.

“I break down life into two really simple things: doing what you love and doing it with the people that you love,” Jesse says. “That’s where the magic comes from. That’s when the highs start getting higher and the lows don’t feel so bad.”

“That’s what we have, what the world needs right now, and what we want to share with people. We want to light up every room that we walk into,” Juliana offers.

Raised in a musical family, the pair believe their eclectic musical experiences have had a serious impact on their sound.

Their dad, is a classically-trained musician, introduced his children to jazz from his home country of Brazil, as well as to the likes of Earth Wind and Fire, and Michael Jackson  Their mother, is a pianist and flautist, who instilled an appreciation for folk music and the art of songwriting. This is a great combination.

Thanks to Jesse and Julianna for recording an up close and fun 5 Quick Questions for us. Find out what albums they could listen to on repeat, who they think you should be paying more attention to, and more!
