Hotel Mira has released their final video for the album Perfectionism. ‘The Eyes On You’ mixes live performance with a theatrical story. The video includes lots of colours, dancing Charlie, fun costume changes (including the pink suit), and one of my favourite songs off the album.

‘The Eyes On You’ is already sitting in the Top 25 at radio.

“As a song, ‘The Eyes On You’ is a bit of a bait and switch. It is supposed to sound like a love song at first listen, but the more you pay attention to the words, you’ll find it is actually a song about a relationship that is deteriorating. The video is a much more abstract idea. It’s much more about feeling the pressure of an audience and the pressure to perform. We also saw it as a good opportunity to start finding a symbolic way to end the Perfectionism era (by burying the pink suit jacket)” – Charlie Kerr

Hotel Mira is getting ready to kick off a western Canada tour in September. If the new video and new dates aren’t enough Charlie Kerr for fans, they can catch him on tv this fall. He’ll be joining the cast as a recurring guest star on CTV’s Jann (premiere September 27).  You can also check out his appearances on Supernatural and The Magicians.
