On Sunday night at the Ancaster Fairgrounds in Hamilton, ON the 2021 Country Music Association of Ontario (CMAO) presented their 9th annual awards.
The drive-in show, hosted by Jason McCoy and Beverly Mahood, featured performances by Robyn Ottolini, Aaron Allen, Kelly Prescott, Tim Hicks, Sacha, Elyse Saunders, Buck Twenty, Susan Aglukark and more. And, it recognized some of the top talent that Ontario has to offer in the country music industry.
Meghan Patrick lead the way with three award wins, including her fourth consecutive Female Artist of the Year trophy. And Aaron Allen followed closely behind with two wins of his own (Male Artist and Album of the Year).
With more and more high-quality country music coming from Ontario artists, it’s impressive to see not only the winners, but the nominees and performers coming together to celebrate the accomplishments of the past year, and the bright future ahead.
