Guess what kids. My new job starts soon. The one I’ve really wanted since the day I first applied. I’m excited. I’m a little nervous. I’m happy.

The new job is right in my wheel house. Get this, I’m going to be researching movie info, stories and news and blogging about it in quick bursts so that you, the masses, may be informed.

As I haven’t yet started I’m not going to share urls or names yet. But I plan on getting the word out once I’m writing, don’t you worry about that.

This job gives me the opportunity to do some of my favourite things. I get to watch movies. I get to review movies. I get to search for juicy information. I get to connect with the masses. And more than anything else, I get to write. Heck yes!

There are other awesome things about this new job too. It’s closer to home than any other job I’ve had in Toronto. The pay is better than anything else I’ve had since I moved as well. After my 3 months of probation I will have benefits like a grown-up. And it’s a Monday to Friday job with regular office hours. And that makes it easier to be a sports and prime time TV fan.
The paper work shows that they are serious about working, privacy, results and effort. No slacking off. No cell phones. No visitors. No Facebook/ Twitter. But you know what, I’m totally okay with that.

I’m a little worried that I won’t be posting here as often. But between awesome guest posts and pieces that I can put together we’ll keep things rolling along, I promise.

So, wish me luck. It’s going to be an exciting ride. And I promise to let you know where you can find all of the new and exciting movie news as soon as I’m the one reporting it.
