Formed in San Francisco in 1993 Third Eye Blind became the background of our lives. The one remaining original member is Stephan Jenkins, lead vocalist. The debut self-titled album spent 104 weeks on the Billboard music chart and gave the band three charting singles. Those three are on this list and they cemented a place in our subconscious for this band.

The latest album, Dopamine, was released mid 2015 and was a project that took 5 years to complete. Writers block, lawsuits and changes in the band lineup all played a part in the delay of this album. Dopamine gives us some great hooks, fun metaphors and a fun poppy/dance beat to move to.

I didn’t get a chance to see the band live in the ’90’s and I’m looking forward to this opportunity. Third Eye Blind is currently on tour in the United States.
