Hillside Festival 2018 Lineup and Ticket Announcement

Hillside Festival is back in 2018, for year 35, with a stellar lineup, loaded with Canadian talent. Located at Guelph Lake Island, the festival runs from July 13-15, 2018.

The list of artists currently sits at 70, with more to be announced.  With three days and five stages, that’s a lot of music! The list of performers represents multiple genres including Folk, Indie Rock, R&B, Hip Hop, Electropop, Dub/Punk and World Music. Included in this year’s festival are some of our favourites including Crown Lands, Elijah Woods + Jamie Fines, Birds of Bellwoods, Hollerado, Iskwé, and Little Junior. To see the full lineup visit the website.

You’ll find workshops, spoken word poets, beautiful nature trails and entertainment aimed at children as well as a wild Children’s Area at Hillside. There’s also a commitment that their food vendors be top-level.

Tickets are already on sale and they’re available at multiple price points, increasing in value as we get closer to the festival. In addition, there are also single day tickets available. Click here for more details on tickets.

Hillside Ticket PricingGreen is a big part of Hillside Festival and we don’t just mean the venue. Over the years Hillside Festival has won awards for their green initiatives. The initiatives include the Green Team, who roam the grounds asking for donations to the Green Fun. Next, the Green Roof on the main stage, which does it’s best to make up for the space the stage is taking up is a big green initiative. Dishwashing over disposable plates, cups and utensils. That’s right, vendors serve their fare on and in reusable plates and cups.

As a matter of fact, all of the beer tents have reusable beer mugs and wine glasses for sale but if you’ve brought your own, you can wash those too. Bikes and buses are encouraged and staff use pedal-powered vehicles to get around whenever possible.
