The 2019 JUNO Awards are on their way to London, ON on March 17, and now we know who has been nominated for statues this year!

Nominees across 45 categories were announced on Tuesday morning, with this year’s show host, Sarah McLachlan joining the live stream of the morning conference.

As always, it was an exciting day for Canadian artists who were nominated. Some picked up nominations for the first time, others have been here before. But all of them earned their way onto these lists of potential winners.

More than anything, across genres and from coast to coast, these nominations show the level and depth of talent in Canadian music. It’s fantastic to see. It’s a great reminder of what we have to celebrate in Canadian music. And for these artists, their teams, and their families, it’s a wonderful reason to celebrate on a Tuesday.

We’ve pulled a list of 17 categories and nominees to get you started on your JUNO studying, with Shawn Mendes picking up six mentions, The Weeknd pulling five, bülow being named four times, Alessia Cara earning three mentions, and Arkells, Elijah Woods x Jamie Fine, Jessie Reyez, Meghan Patrick, and more listed twice each.
